CERTIFICATE IN MINISTRY PROGRAM IN ASIAN SEMINARY OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

Word International School of Leadership (WISL) is in partnership with the Asian Seminary for Christian Ministries (ASCM) Philippines. After the completion of the eight courses, such as Old Testament, New Testament, Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Systematic Theology, Church Administration, Church History, Mission and Evangelism (a total of 24 credits), students may continue their education to earn higher degrees in Christian education in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees at ASCM.

The next step is to complete the Certificate in Ministry (C.Min) program in ASCM. The Seminary offers two options for students: a straight certificate program or a ladderized program leading to a bachelor’s degree. In the straight program, students can earn a C.Min after completing 36 credit units, or 12 more credits after completing the 24 credits taken from WISL, which includes an apprenticeship. The remaining courses are the following: Pastoral Theology, Spiritual Leadership, Field Education, and Internship.

The program courses are available in two formats. Firstly, online courses are offered, utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous modes of course delivery. Alternatively, face-to-face classes are conducted in an off-campus setting. The off-campus mode of delivery is specifically designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of entry-level pastors and church ministers. This particular program is exclusively available to a cohort of students from a church organization or institution that requests it.
